Clos Galena is the dream come true of its founder Miguel Pérez, who firmly believed in the ecological potential of the Priorat vine and started his project in 1999.
Passionate about the world of wine, he passed on this great passion to his wife Merche Dalmau. When they both got to know Priorat, they fell in love with the territory, and it was there that they built a sustainable and ecological winery. An innovative venture in the Priorat appellation of origin.
Miguel Pérez left us in April 2013, and his wife Merche Dalmau is currently the owner and manager of the winery. Together with a great team and the oenologist Toni Coca, they continue to build the dream that began in 1999.
The exceptional association of a singular terroir, a tenacious dream and a skilled team motivated by excellence, has produced singular and exceptional wines that manage to transmit a whole culture, the land and the landscape of the Priorat.
The winery’s philosophy has always sought to capture the essence of the territory as faithfully as possible, with the aim of producing high quality, unique and special wines. Wines that awaken all the senses in a landscape that lives around the important spirituality of the Priorat.
